Flaming Passion

The flames of passion burn hot!

Allowing my passion to burn inspires my imagination to grow.

I love when my imagination runs wild. I love being inspired.

When I am inspired my passion grows stronger.

Being passionate creates such an place of euphoria.

The state of euphoria opens my mind to awesome colors and shapes.

The colors and shapes create awesome abstract art.

I dedicate this image to my wonderful husband, Paul. Today is his 37th birthday. Also, today is my father and sister's birthday. I wish them an awesome birthday.

In The Garden

One of my favorite gospel hymns is called "In The Garden". These are the lyrics:

1. I come to the garden alone,
   While the dew is still on the roses,
   And the voice I hear falling on my ear
   The Son of God discloses.
   • Chorus:
     And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
     And He tells me I am His own;
     And the joy we share as we tarry there,
     None other has ever known.
2. He speaks, and the sound of His voice
   Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
   And the melody that He gave to me
   Within my heart is ringing.
3. I’d stay in the garden with Him,
   Though the night around me be falling,

He Is My Refuge

There she stands tall and proud; safe and protected by the mighty fortress surrounding her.

This parallels with my faith in that God is my refuge and keeps me safe with Him being a mighty fortress surrounding me.

This is 18/52 week challenge. It's abstract art and a lens painting. I decided to go on a larger scale this time instead of the macro. It has a light textured layer added.

Seashells - Tongue Twister

She sells seashells by the seashore. The shells she sells are surely seashells. So if she sells shells on the seashore, I'm sure she sells seashore shells.

17/52 week challenge. I like tongue twisters. So, today I'm pairing my image with this tongue twister.

From Within

It lurks there... from within.

I hurried past.

I could hear it breathing heavily as I passed and it watched me.

What lies beyond? It could be anything fear related.

What are you afraid of? It's out there. Waiting for you. Or has it moved in and lurks from within?

Yes, this is a scary post. Sometimes, I like to express scary because we all fear. Expressing my fear here is therapeutic for me to get it out of my own mind.

She proudly stands in full glory for all to see.
She waves and reaches for Heaven.

Spring Flight

It's Spring. The birds are whistling their tunes. The sky is full of puffy white clouds, and the flowers are blooming.

Spring brings new life, as well as, newborns. The flying kind that is. Mothers flit off to find food for their young. The young wait for their return. The first sights and smells of mom the young squawk for their feeding. Mom hovers over them as she flits from one to the other offering each nourishment.

She lovingly cares for them until it's time for them to take flight.
